Meet Prime’s performance coating
Our wax cartons are specifically designed for heavy fish, poultry and produce loads that may accumulate fluid or require refrigeration during transit. Your product, its shelf life and transport timeframe may influence the type of box we recommend you use.
Protect your package’s integrity
Our corrugated wax cartons primarily have a leakage allowance which combats the absorption of fluids that would otherwise saturate a carton. This avoids breakage and damage to the contents within the box, allowing for safe transport of specialty items.
Determine just what you need
The strength of your wax barrier depends on how and when we pour the wax during the fabrication phase. Sometimes, we’ll insert wax sheeting between box components, with the right version selected to adapt to water and ice transports during shipping. Additional wax treatments are available for specific levels of water or vapor resistance, gas or odor barriers and other specifications.

Revolutionary 8-sided heavy-lifter
We’ve reinvented the octagon bin box from the insides-out, creating a compact carton that’s equipped with interior straps and wiring. This provides even greater moisture protection and durability for heavy use and for packing/storing lingering products.
Add strength and shielding
Our curtain coated boxes are made of a film of wax between the cardboard sheeting, shielding boxes from moisture accumulation. Cascaded boxes feature wax saturation by pouring wax during fabrication, adding strength to the cartons that are suitable for handling at docks and fisheries.
Put a lid on it
Not only do we sell cartons, but we offer customized solutions for self locking and leak proof lids that accommodate a growing list of shipment requirements.
Specialty non-leakers
For specialty loads, our non-leakers are available in both self locking and machine locking versions. Self locking cartons are activated by hand and concealed via flap tucking, while machine locking cartons are created by automatic gluing.
For transport by land, sea and air
Our line of non-leaker transportation cartons adhere to shipping standards and exceed durability requirements. Your sales associate and wax specialists will get to know where and how you’ll be shipping your products, in order to recommend the proper wax fabrication. For example, we recommend cascaded wax for heavy abuse at docking stations.
